EA games copy just like any other game. no problems here. You will prob get more help if you give some more info.

I just copied NBA live 03 and Madden 03 without any problems. DId the 'disc copy' method in PrimoDVD. What media are you using? I bet the problem lies there. I also noticed that my copies boot better with the PS2 laying flat instead of in the vertical stand. I would try better media - Verbatim.
I have a few back-ups of EA games and they work fine.I use Primo to burn and verbatim media,dvd-r or cd-r,no costers to date.
thanx 4 your answers, but what the hell is primoDVD??
PrimoDVD is software that is only distributed to oem partners---pioneer is the best example, meaning when someone buys a pioneer A04 or 104, this software WAS included. I say WAS b/c, the developer of PrimoDVD was Prassi, which was acquired by Veritas, which now distribute software called RecordNOW Max with the pioneer A04 and 104. RecordNOW and PrimoDVD both run on the same burn engine, but I beleive RecordNOW does a bit more. Its tuff to find PrimoDVD on the net, maybe grokster will have it. Hope this helps.
i just tried it again, and i found out, that when i hit my ps2 a few times in a row on top, it starts to play!!

how ever, now it should work fine...
what is the best dvd-burner for ps2-games?
is it true, that the ps2-drive is only able 2 read "dvd-r" -discs??
I got my copy of PrimoDVD from Grokster. I say the best 2 DVD burners out are the Sony and Pioneer. I have the Pioneer 104 and love it. No problems at all.
I have a 104 also and it works good, also use Primo to copy and it works good too.I have only used verbatim media and has been perfect so far.
I'm trying to boot FIFA 2002 right now also... but i'm having the same problem as you are.. it's just sitting there at "Checking for Memory Card (PS2)..." Playing with the white cog a bit but still won't load... gonna keep trying
