HDLoader on the MC

I just installed execftps on the PS2 and successfully connected to the FTP server. Now i have a question: what files do i need to upload in order to boot hdloader from the memory card?

I read the TOTAL NOOB TUTORIAL by DV8 but i think it only installs KEYLAUNCHER, PS2KMENU, EXECFTP and COGSWAPLOADER.

Any help would be appreciated.

you know about title DB?
if not do a search for independence exploit and read a lot,once you have got that up and running.
Go and get yourself LaunchELF(dont know what version its on now) ..you can use this as a front end and pick whatever you want to run from there.
Some ppl swear by PS2MENU, Unless its improved a lot (i havent used it in ages) only use it for certain things (making a MP3 partition for (suprise suprise) MP3`s

Depends what you want to do with your kit. if you want to put BACKUPS (cough) on you HDD, use a pc to transfer them to your ps2 HDD using WinHIIP, or the other one i carnt remember the name of.

put EXECFTPs on as its always useful.
Put HDD loader on the card try the latest one.
FapLink is ok to transfer small stuff to the HDD (like an EMU`s PGEN?)

You need two files: TITLE.DB and BOOT.ELF. You need to make ur own title.db and you can use any elf launcher... you just needa rename it to boot.elf. There are a shit load... no two shit loads of tuts on this site for this. Oh you can simply ftp hdl along with any other files...

i managed to get the app that needs KL.dat running and i successfully installed HDLoader 0.7.

What i want to do:

Transfer all the apps except the KEYLauncher app on my hdd on a new partition.
How do i create this new partition without loosing all my game backups? What app do i need?
