HDloader.elf to Boot.elf
If I change the Name of Hdloader.elf to boot.elf and use the exploit; will it go directly to hd loader? I'm asking cause the Boot.elf hangs after exceeding a certain amount of used space on my 200gb seagate even though my hdloader is patched for 48bit addressing. :banghead:

It's supposed to. It will load the sony intro (cubes floating around) then go to the hdloader splash

not really...it will stay as a BSOD because hdloader.elf cant be renamed to boot.elf and work. it should, but it wont. you need a seperate boot.elf, one that points to hdloader (renamed to HDA.ELF) . dont worry its about the same loading time as any other exploit.

Can't you just make a new folder in the mc titled BOOT, then put the hdloader elf named as BOOT there?

no infina you got it confused. you gotta make w/e the elf you wanna boot as BOOT.ELF but hdloader for some reason wont boot when you name it BOOT.ELF . you can make however many folders you want but the folder that the ps2 accesses when it does the exploit is BADATA-SYSTEM so all your exploit files need to go in there.

Ooh, I set up a friend's ps2 with the exploit, but I'm used to my modded ps2. I seem to have forgotten that.
