got exploit to my mc

i managed to get the exploit to my mc and there are various options,i tried to play a psone backup by selecting the (swap in psone backup here and press L3 (v9 only).) but it didnt work it tells me that the disc format must be a ps one or ps2 ,i alo tried it in the cogswap thing and didnt work either, i selected the hdloader and it said that the program failed is this normal? or do i need to have the hd? i also tried ps2menu to browse my mc and it said the same thing (failed to launch the program, can someone help? thanks in advance

hd loader never works off the main menu, best prog to use is launchelf, its easy to setup, and use cogswap to play your backups, you'll need to use the slide card to do it though but it works great especially for playing snes station discs as well

i chose launchelf but nothing hapened,what do i need to do here? also is there a way of booting my backups without slide card?

You must have a flip top or slide card to boot your backups... or you can use a modchip or some much more extreme measures...
