did what you said, still not working. anything special needed in the ethereal capture? I did a capture from the start of the exploit server till the AR Max no server found msg.
Thanks to lostbaka (Ps2-Scene) we have worked out what the problem is with the latest version of of AR Max from the US. Its requesting a different website, So I am currently adapting my program to reply to any DNS query, correctly so that it will work for AR Max's from other countries too.
Ok I just updated the program. It now supports european (+ Aust, nz) and US copies. It also has a new ip function so only a valid IP can be entered, and they cant be changed after you click start server.
I STILL WANT AN ETHEREAL LOG FROM SOMEONE WHO HAS AN OLDER VERSION WITH INTERNET SUPPORT. If you do, set it all up, click capture on ethereal, then go to your ps2 and download a powersave the ordinary way on your version of ar max. After sending me the Ethereal log, I will be able to make it autodetect your version.

I'd love to say it works great, but I'm having a problem, The ps2 connects to my pc and the exploit sender says "Transfere Complete" but on the ps2 AR max says "An error occured during connection, do you wish to try again?" If I choose yes (which I tried like 12 times in a row with some of the tries lasting 5 to 10 seconds but most of the time only lasting less than a second.) it just keeps doing the same thing. I'm using your newest exploit sender and I've even tried different max files but nothing changes.
I would really need an ethereal log to see exactly whats going on. If people who want to use exploitsender but have an incompatable version can email me their ethereal logs in a .zip file, or even attach here, I will implement them in a new final version which I'll release next weekend.
I have the EXACT same problem that Splatt19 described. I believe it occurs with older versions of AR Max. I already sent digitalps2 a copy of an Ethereal log from the AR Max trying to connect to the Powersaves server. I hope it helps!
