good neokey usb install?

the dvd drive isnt working that well and has a lot of trouble playing original ps2 games.. i want to know if the job i did was good or not.. it can play a burned audio cd, does that meen it works? any way i can test it to see if the internal soldering was done correctly? (wihtout taking apart the ps2). the light on the usb chip flashs constantly, just like it did before i soldered a wire to the insides

sure, turn on the switch, and put in a psx copy, if it plays, it works, I've seen that install make all psx orginals fail unless the thing in, and having it in/on will jam up ps2 original bootup, since it's jamming a PSX acess code in while the ps2 is trying to read the ps2 code off the disc.
