Game Swap Trick NFSU2 no go!

Hey guys, new to the forums.

Just trying to install FreeMCBoot onto my Memory card from my unmodded Slim PS2. I got a copy of Need For Speed Underground 2 and followed the tutorial on changing ELF with uLaunchELF without success. I can swap the DVD with a copied version and still play the game but when i try to load the uLaunchELF via online add/edit mode it comes up with "insert Playstation or Playstation 2 game" with the red & black background.

Has anyone else had this problem??
I've tried an older version of uLaunchELF without success. THe PS2 slim model is SCPH-77002 PAL version.

Thanks for the link, looks like 007 agent under fire is the only sure thing for phat and slim.
BTW King of Fighters 2003 is a no go as well.

NEED FOR SPEED UNDERGROUND 2 is VERIFIED NOT TO WORK!

I have just followed every single tutorial out there and tried every different angle for a solution, none work with this game! Which sucks but yeh... don't waste 4 days and €100 on it like I just did

Can you help me i've have tried MGS3, 007 and just now Need for speed been at this freemcboot for 2 weeks still no joy! any help would be very much welcomed
