Free McBoot and PS2 Slim

Im using Memorex DVDs for the "backup" with the ulaunch on it. Im using Agent Under Fire. I followed the instructions, after i saved the game when i reached mission 2 and i replaced the disc after saving and then went to
Select Mission > Mission 2 "Missing Cargo" and pressed x and then x to start it. I get a black screen and it stops reading and ulaunch doesnt launch.

What is the problem D:

What version is your PS2?

We really need more info, on the process you are doing..There are members here that can do the install for you.

Nevermind i solved the problem. I just did the tape hot swap mod so i could change it while the drive was open.

got it working. its one of those silver slims. ntsc. dont know the version.

now i need to know how to patch the backup discs to launch in the ps2.

One more question. How does one play backup PS1 games? I figured out the PS2 now the PS1 i have no clue.

You would need a retail PS1 cheat disc that allows for swapping or you could try looking for a BreakerPro disc. If your PS2 happens to be an older V9 model , you can use PSXLauncher.
