1. You can start your ESR-Backups directly&automatically through FMCB (hacked OSD or Fastboot).
It works in both cases, if your FMCB is configured in the right way.
2. You can disable the hacked OSD, or just configure it to look the same, like your Original OSD looks like.
If you´re just annoyed by the logo, then do what you want.
I rather use an FMCB with more complete sys-init, better ELF-Loading-Method and the OSD-Stuff (only disadvantage compared to 1.5 are the external USB-Drivers, which have a real RESCUE-Function in 1.5 as long as only the osdmain.elf/"KELF" is installed&no-need for external drivers... Thus, make it very rock-solid and near un-destroyable, once installed.).
