Everytime a new post with the same questions.
Use Verbatim DVD-R, burn it with the certified speed, or try 8x.
You need to patch it with ESR-Patcher.
Read the readmes. All is explained!
Anyone knows where do I know the certificate speed for dvd, where do I check that? and how? thanks
The easiest way is, to choose the middle between.
If it is an 1x-8xDVDR, you might burn it at 4x.
If it is a DVDR, where only the Certified is noted, choose it (Verbatim shows the real certified speed-"value", not a speed-range between x&y.)
can i use a DVD-RW or DVD+RW?
That depends on your ps2 version, I think v9 and up support RW dvd's, my v3 certainly doesn't..
I bet you, to use a DVD-R.
Even, if the new Versions support it, the lasers aren't that good,...
Well,... My KHS400c in my PS2 also reads DVD-RW, if they are good.
I use a really good Verbatim, I think 2xMedia sometimes to test. ^^
It has the old "RW-Package" in Pink&Blue and is completely silver.
It works very good.
My laser also still is in good condition (I thought not before, but it was just a focus-issue. I did turned on "Diagnosis" 10 times I think,...).
can i use a burn action replay with Free MCBOOT?
