They are universal PS2 bios is what is different in ever region

I would put a game in and listen to see if you hear it spin up if it don't then it might be the motor instead.
you could get a motor replacement if it is the motor but I would go with complete myself so everything has same life 
But first make sure all your strips are connected and clean connections it might not need a replacement

Dude!!!! I just found out that my ps2 just needed a rest cuz i used that ps2 along time not but now it works again wtf!!! thats awesome, but i cant use it cuz i bought a new one so that would be waiste of money, maybe tommorrow or maybe later i will use freemcboot.
