FlashFXP "500 Local write failed" error
FlashFXP "500 Local write failed" error –
10-16-2006,11:04 PM
Hi all,
I'm trying to ftp an .elf file to the memory card but keep getting an error. The file begins to transfer but never finishes. Prior to this I've never had a problem using this program. I tried another ftp program called LeechFTP but that doesn't seem to work either. This happend once before, but it somehow "fixed" itself. Here is the FlashFXP log:

does the 500 unable to open directory is red? or in green because if it's in red just deactivate the passive mode so it can write your elf to the hd or mc

@ proton:
I'm able to open directory, so green. It starts the transfer, but at about 50-60% completion it stops and restarts the transfer. So the file will show up on the mc, but only a fraction of the size of the original, ie. 1.2 mb instead of 2.86 mb.
@ ace714:
I should have enough space, but I'll double check and delete or move some file to the hdd.
Thanks.

Problem solved, looks like I didn't have enough space. Thanks ace714 for the heads up and proton for the time.
