Exploit setup for a friend

I have this guy's memory card and I want to set up the exploit for him. He doesn't know a heck of a lot about this kind of stuff so thought I'd be nice and get it all done for him. Then, I'll just explain how to use it all.

However, seeing as how I only installed the exploit once for myself and it took me about a week and several failed attempts to get it right, I want to be sure I have this all done correctly before I give the card back.

So, with all that said, how do I go about setting up the exploit on his card? I have everything done on mine, with ULE as the startup app, and can transfer files via the HOST feature, FTP, and USB mass storage.

copy your system file from your MC onto his MC.
then you edit the DISC ID for his MC by FTP

to test:
pop in the disc that you aimed for.
