Exploit with PSP –
11-21-2006,03:47 PM
This might be a dumb question but I didn't see it posted anywhere on here, sorry if it has been but my version of gameshark says "PSP reader that allows user to transfer game saves between PSP & PS2 for storage on memory card". Is there a way I can install an exploit on my PS2 using my PSP?

i used my psp to install mine. i used the ausdigital independance compiler to make the exploit, then copied it from my psp to my memory card with action replay max. if you try this method, you may need to convert the save file to GS format first.
i got the installer and the save converter at exploitstation

I am using the independence exploit and I got the .xps file onto my memory card but I don't have an option to uncrush the file or anything, so now I'm stuck there.

you need to open the xps with the ps2 save builder and save it as a gameshark file
(.md or .sps depending on the version of sharkport).
save builder is here: wwwDOTexploitstationDOTcom/index.php?page=downloads
site won't let me post a direct link

I've tried using both of those filetypes but neither one of them seem to work. What I have is a gameshark 2 v1.2, would you happen to know what filetype that version uses?

.sps should work on a gameshark 2. what you should do is copy a save from your memory card to the psp with the gameshark, then connect the psp to your pc and see what the file type of the save is. then build your exploit save to match
