I just... acquired... a game. When I attempt to patch it, the tool yells at me "No UDF Desc".
What is this error, and how do I fix it? My wife really wants to play this game!
BTW, the ISO is only like 345meg

It's a CD image, you have to convert it to DVD.
This can be accomplished a few different ways, using even standard burning programs. I use IMGBURN and create an ISO9660/UDF image from the CD files.
Before you do this though, you have to patch all relevant game files for DVD. The executable, IRX modules, IMG files etc. You need DVD Scanlite 3.7
Patch your files, make a correct ISO that uses UDF, then patch the ISO for ESR.
I figured it out, and with a lot less steps...
UltraISO to change it to UDF ISO, save the UDF ISO, ESR patch, then burn with IMGBurn, pop it in, and poof! works!
Must not be any needed modules to patch, or they're already patched. You may not be so lucky with a different CD based game, so if you run into the same problem again you may need to patch those files.
ESR does simple on the fly patching which is enough for some cd->dvd games. That's probably the case.
