esr with codebreaker 10?

ok so few days ago I successfully used fmcb with esr to run backups with the helpful and patient bootleg ninja , now I have been reading to trying to figure out how to use the codebreaker 10 (game stop version) but I only been able to find the hdl version and the patched 9.2 is there a way to use codebreaker 10?

all this reading has led to confusion which in turn led to nausea. not a good thing... /sigh

If I were you, I'd locate a cracked Codebreaker 9.2 and run it through the HDL patch. The once that is done, you can make the esr program your CB_launch.elf so that codebreaker will launch ESR and your game directly.

ok found it, umm does it matter that I am not using any hdd's?

doesn't matter if you are using ESR in place of HDL.

ok so now it runs from my 4gb usb drive and after it checks for mc it saids out of memory....

ok not sure if something went wrong but when the mc's are removed it cb+esr worked fine

The memory card space problem may have happened because CodeBreaker wanted to store its cheat database on the MC, and since that database is pretty big you probably didn't have enough free room for it.

hmm thats a possibility but umm...its working now and I haven't done anything so I'm not sure what happened. but thanks for the all the help guys.

Can it be that a patched codebreaker 9.3 (patched via patching utility - i followed the guide) is unable to boot esr-patched PAL games?
i patched it, configured it to boot mc0:/BOOT/BOOT.ELF (or something like that, which is, my esr elf).
so when i do not select any codes just to try if it works and click on the run game icon in codebreaker, i get a black screen and nothing happens (tried with ffx pal, esr patched).

is your system NTSC? if so, you need to regionpatch your games before you esr patch and burn.
