    I am aware of the button shortcuts, but I'm looking for a way to have shortcuts to .ELF applications appear alongside the others (ulaunchelf, HDLoader, etc.) in the FMCB main menu. I've searched the files on my memory card in order to find some sort of configuration file, but I found nothing.

    I'm not sure if these are configurable, or these shortcuts were just coded in. I want USB Advance to show up on the main menu; Currently, I did that by renaming it to "HDLOADER.ELF", but I'd like it to show up as "USB Advance". I thought there was something it could be renamed to to allow a shortcut to appear...I'm not really sure. I've tried USBADVN.ELF (I make sure the extension is capitalized), USB_ADVANCED.ELF, etc.

    Thanks.

    As I see from your post. You have installed FMCB Noobie package

    You can put any items on the fmcb menu that you want through the fmcb configurator which is the last option on the fmcb menu.
    Go to that option then osdsys options

    and from there on it is straight forward.

    There is a nice video tutorial made by some mods in here at youtube. Just search for it in youtube and you will find it

    I have shortcuts in my PS2 menu, but some of them don't work. I have installed Fre MCBoot 1.8b, and in BOOT folder in MC0 I've Esr (ESR.ELF) and uLaunch (BOOT.ELF). The two shortcuts works perfectly, but I use Simple Media System from my pendrive and this shortcut doesn't work. The file named SMS.ELF is located in my pendrive in BOOT folder, so everythink should be ok, but it isn't. When i launch "Simple Media System" in my PS2 menu, I see black screen and the console restarts. I've checked my config file in Free MCBoot (FREEMCB.CNF) and it's ok. Can anyone help me?

    Are you talking about FREEMCB.CNF file in SYS-CONF folder in Memory Card? It looks like that:

    CNF_version = 1
    Debug_Screen = 0

    Try a different USB stick.....just to see if the one your using could be incompatible.

    Also check to be sure the SMS.ELF is correct and not SMS.elf on the USB, as Windows likes to make the extensions in small and not caps.
    PS2 Consoles:
    SCPH-30001 [V4] - unmodded (2)
    SCPH-30001-R [V5] DMS4 Pro SE
    SCPH-50001-N [V9] CC 2.0 SLE
    SCPH-79001 [V16] Silver - unmodded
