My pendrive is compatible with my PS2, because when I launch SMS by uLaunch everythink is ok. I've tried another one and everything's the same. And one think is interesting: when I hold L2 button when I switch on my console, SMS starts normaly without any problems. ?
As has been said many times before, uLaunchELF has the newest and best USBD and USBHDFSD driver versions available. But the original FMCB noobie package did NOT have those drivers. It is only fairly recently that the package was upgraded to have the same drivers as used by uLE (uLE has those embedded inside the elf).Quote:

I am not sure if this driver issue is what causes your problem, but it is definitely worth the effort to get the newest drivers anyway.
The thing causing my doubt about it is what you said about FMCB succeeding with the launch when commanded to do it by a button press instead of doing it through the menu. I really don't know what to make of that. With your CNF those two launch methods should work the same way... :crazy:

That doesnt make sense........SMS boots off the pendrive only from uLaunchELF and the button press of L2??!! I agree with dlanor its very strange you can launch SMS from L2, but not from the OSD Menu. They are using the exact same launch paths, so it should work for both. I would have guessed next that your controller may be partly responsible......the X button. But if your able to launch all the other OSD menu entries, then its just something unheard of.Quote:
