Easiest way to play backups on a PSTwo? ... been outa the scene for awhile..

Hey I havent looked into modding the new pstwo at all. I used to have an older fatty version that I just used a flip-top and swapmagic discs to play backups and homebrew. Now with the pstwo out I see tons of different ways to enable backup plays , my question is which method is the easiest and cheapest. I would also like to figure out how to play games from a hard drive. If anyone could help point me in the right direction I can get to reading :chinscrat

Swap Magic would be the easiest and cheapest for a Slim PS2. You can get some magic keys to keep the cover open for the swap magic swap. 20$ total at iHackPS2.org and for the HD you need a pro to do that would cost around 50$ at norcalmods.com called a HD-Connect or HD-ComBo. then you can boot up HD Loader (hd loading program) from Swap Magic.

ok im sort of in the same boat, i had a quick question supposing i do that could i use the usb in the front of the slim ps2 and put a hard drive enclosure attatched to that to load backgames from? or do i have to open the case up and solder in the hard drive through the back?

USB methoed is crap and sucks, works with 5% of games and when it does work the loading times are longer than the disc and movies skip and are choppy
