And how exactly are you trying to put in your own music? Is there some sort of in-game option to do this, or are you trying to muck about with files on the game disc?
afaik, there isn't a PS2 game that you can extract and replace audio files successfully. I do believe it has been done in a few PS1 games tho.
Actually there are alot of PS2 games where you can replace audio files with your own, I've replaced some music in my copies of WWE Smackdown! vs RAW 2004 and 2006 pretty easily. It all depends on the audio format the game uses and tools available for said format and how the game addresses the files as to if it can be done with and how easy it is with a particular game.Originally Posted by pythonjosh
ya it all has to with audio format, and our access to the programs that can create that format. And then also identifying what format the original audio files as well. I would love to enter my own audio for the radio stations of the GTA games, and especially GT3+4, GT soundtracks just suck lol
I have also put music in my gta's, just san andreas is more complicated than the other gta's, but its easier in a way.Originally Posted by pythonjosh

What prog(s) do ya use to convert mp3 to GTA:SA format?
Dance Factory is a DDR-like game that allows you to insert CD's of your own and have it auto-generate stepcharts.
