Can anyone make sense of this supposed 'boot method'?

I was digging around on some other forums and came across this rather poorly written explanation on how some guy booted SNESstation using an authentic PSone game and the SLUS from the PSone game, supposedly without an exploit, boot disc, or modchip...
I've read this multiple times and still can't quite figure out just what the heck he is babbling on about...
Here's the full read:
Guy babbled the following:
"Ok this is what i did. I was thinking "I wonder what would happen if i took the slus file from a ps1 game and put it in with the rest of the files when i make a bin/cue file with cdgen." I used a ps1 game slus because they are cd roms and when you burn snes station you put it on a cdr. So i burned the disk and took the game that i got the slus from and put it in my ps2. I dont have a modchip or swap magic just i think its the cotton ball method or something like that and i know that you can play burned ps1 BACKUPS (not pirited games) by doing this method. Anyways i turned on my ps2 and it did the little boot screen or whatever you call it and when the screen went black i switched the ps1 game for the burned snes station disk and it went to the ps1 screen that is supposed to have the logo but strangley it didnt probably cause i burned the disk at max speed. The sad part is that it had the like ps1 tone i guess you could call it then it did nothing. I am going to mess around with this but the thing is i dont have very many knowlege on this stuff or many cdrs left so i need some ppl to help me with this it will be cool if we could get this to work."
So: crazy trick that sorta worked, or complete and total lie?

From what i understand from that pile of babble is he burned a cd with SNES as the SLUS of the PS1 game.
Booted the normal game disc and tried to swap at the logo screen, but he didnt get it to work because he thinks he burned the CD at the wrong speed. And hes asking if this will really work. It might work, but then im not going to go 'old school' disc swapping again just to find out.

It won't work. The PS2 will be looking for files referenced to in the PsOne SLUS file, that obviously won't be on the SNEStation disc.
I like the way he says
i know that you can play burned ps1 BACKUPS (not pirited games) by doing this method
Shows he's a noob, since backups ARE pirated games.
