audio skip in dvd decrypter burnt ps2 game. Please help
I am running Windows XP and SP1. I am using DVD Decrypter 3.5.30 in ISO - Read mode to copy a PS2 game (Jak And Daxter: The Precursor Legacy) to the hard drive. This works with no problem. Then I use ISO - Write mode to burn this image to a Verbatim 4.7 GB dvd at 1x speed. My dvd writer is a Lite-On SOHW-1633S. The burn is successful, but when I use Swap Magic 3.6 plus, and load the newly burnt game, there are audio skips in the beginning logo sequence, and during the game, whenever there is any dialogue.
* Is there something I am doing wrong in the above process that is resulting in this audio skip problem?
* Would the speed at which the game is copied to the hard disk be a factor?
* When I select 1x as the burning speed in DVD Decrypter and start the burn, I see that in the information section, the write rate is 4.0x. Is this correct - isnt it supposed to be 1x?
* Is there better software that I should be using?
Please, any help would be most appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
