Attempting Swap Disk with R&C: Up Your Arsenal
Attempting Swap Disk with R&C: Up Your Arsenal –
I'm trying to use an edited Ratchet and Clank: Up Your Arsenal game to install FMCB. It has two .elf files that I can replace, one for a demo and one for the network configuration, and I did what the tutorial I was following asked (to replace the .elf files with Apache and change the TOC to match the size of the BOOT.ELF file). I have all of the sensors on my Slim taped down, but when I swap the disk, it sends me to the red error screen. Could it be that the game has some sort of file check that means I'd have to pad the BOOT.ELF with dummy data to make it the same size as one of the other .elf files, or is there something I'm doing wrong...?
I had the same problem with several games, you might as well send your card to have FCMB put on it.
I'd be willing to try one more time if not changing the file size could fix it. Otherwise, I'm ready to give up and ask someone to do it for me.
