Apache v1.1 problem (game swap method)
Apache v1.1 problem (game swap method) –

I am trying to use the disc swap trick to install FreeMcboot on my ps2, but have run into a problem. I have been using this tutorial --> http://bootleg.sksapps.com/tutorials/fmcb/swap.php, except I am using a demo disk instead of 007. I Have done everything up to the point where you use Apache to edit the TOC, but when I load the iso, the files don't appear, only the folders do. Does anyone know why the files don't appear? Is changing the TOC really necessary? Is it true that newer versions of Apache do not work?
Thanks in advance and sorry for so many questions.

For starters I would suggest to find Apache 3 (preview version) as that is the latest version out and I have yet to hear anyone have issues with it (can even be used on Windows 7 without issues)..
I have had nothing but issues with all Apache's under version 2.0..
So try to find (google) for the preview version and report back as everything your doing is correct thus far..
Also yes changing the TOC does in fact matter when doing a swaptrick

I was able to find Apache 2 and create the uLauncher backup of the demo disc, but I can't get the PS2 to read the disc.
I am using an OPM demo disc. I replaced the ESPN demo ELF with the uLaunchELF. I let the Demo disc main menu load and then swap the discs. Then, I start the ESPN demo, but it says to insert a PS2 game disc. I am using a high quality Sony DVD+R written at x8 speed. Any ideas as to why the backup is unreadable?

Never mind, I realized what I was doing wrong. I have successfully installed FMCB. Is there a way to close or delete this thread?
