Anyway to play CD games with FMCB?

Not sure if this is the right place for this (I really don't use forums much, sorry.) but is there any way to play a CD game using FMCB? I tried searching it myself but i only came up with two possible answers, one being Cogswap, and the other being USBAdvance. However, neither of these will work for me. So, is there any wau i can boot up and play CD games other than these two possible methods?

There's a CD game i've been wanting to play for a long time but I could never play imports before, so naturally, i wanna play it now and ESR only loads DVD games.

Oh, I also tried converting it to DVD format through rebuilding which i have confirmed does not work.

How do you you use CogSwap ? (Steps you are taking to do the swap and your PS2 model.)

The CogSwap / SwapMagic / uLE method should work on every console.

I do not currently have a swap method, that's why i can't use cogswap.

FMCB DOES NOT WORK with CD based games, they must be in, or be converted to DVD format..

Correct me if i'm wrong, but FMCB just launches homebrew programs, doesn't it? It's ESR that doesn't launch CD games. I already know ESR doesn't launch CD games and they must be converted to DVD format. BUT not all CD games CAN be converted to DVD. I am dealing with one of such games.

yea its just a way to run Homebrew .

I'm not sure what you mean by CD games.. do you mean CD based PS2 games or ps1 games? because ULE can be used to swap your retail ps1 disc with your backup (if the disc control setting is ON) when you hold down the ULE hotkey (default is R1) at the FMCB splashscreen. just do a swap method trick to swap them after the disc has spun down and then run MISC/PS2DISC and your good to go.

If you want to play backups that are out of your PS2's region you can swap the retail disc with Breaker Pro or the like and then boot your backup that way (hold L1,L2,R1,R2 down and manually center your screen with the directional pad)

It's easier then hotswapping and decreases the chances of damaging your discs (unless your really clumsy :P)

OPL can load PS2 cd disc images from an internal hdd, usb storage medium, or from a networked PC (SMB).

OPL is not a disc game loader and fmcb itself is a homebrew loader. ESR is a swap-less disc loader and it is superior to cogswap.
