Only if you port the linux kernel to PS2.

@Moderator: Don't know if i can say that here ?

There is an image of blackrhino created by CERF4 in metagames-eu.com ps2 files section, and totaly legal.

With this cd image, you can boot linux run time, an than boot blackrhino or linux.

So, in your case, just use swapmagic to boot this cd.

Other thing, there is a run time replacement in svn call TGE, but not fonctional.
So, if you want to work on this project, lot of poeple will be really happy.

    Best regards

For me it failed badly from hdl, but you might want to try usbadvance, i've had it booted briefly by that method, but if I remember right, it was very buggy.

Run time environement can be booted with hdl/hda, but when you launch linux/blackrhino in rte, you get a kernel panic because of part of hdl/hda remaining in memory.

So, no way to boot linux/blackrhino from hdl/hda.

    Best regards

would it be possible to port the bootloader to ps2, (the one from the unofficial boot cd is made by manipulating the original right ?) and that way be able to launch from uLE ? (if uLE unloads itself upon start that is, otherwise the bootloader should be made able to unload it before booting kernel).

I guess there are a lot of ps2l/blackrhino users out there who would be interrested in this, an therefore i find it hard to believe it hasn't been tried. Now while im a nerd on PC im totally noob in C enviroments and even dumber on the ps2 dev enviroment , therefore the above q's might sound stupid, but they are ment well

I would rephrase this and say that there would probably my ps2linux users if there was a loader and porter kernel.
