$70 swap modchips!!

I just thought this was ridiculous. I heard from a guy thats into import games that he went to a expo in LA and there was a guy selling swap modchips for $70 and people were buying them !!

PLUS to top it off the $70 didn't include a installation. It cost $50 to install it! So lets see $120 to buy and get a swap modchip installed plus u need to buy swap magic discs as well! Better off buying a premod

thats a couple of ps2s off ebay and a couple of duo 3'. where the heck in LA is this i wanna show this person a piece of my mind or if i had the money id stock some chips and sell em out there. People will buy anything i tell ya.

People are stupid and will pay money for anything. People that don't know anything about mods hear "Hey, with this you can play illegally copied games" and they think "Well **** for $120 I can get all the games I want, I'm in." Dude makes a fortune selling over prices crap to idiots.

At some import expo I think at the LA convention center or the Staples Center.

People should look into everything but sometimes they dont think beyond what they see. Kinda like women they dont see whats really there.

man i would feel like such an idiot if i was one of those people who bought the whole $120 package and then looked it up online and found out u can get them for less than$5 and install it yourself for free

thxs netmech I just thought it would be fine going in modchips section cause its a story all installers and people with real chips would be disgusted at but i guess its better suited here

The other installer in my town charges $150 for a magic or ripper chip install.
