Hello, looking to use this to move my SACD collection to hard disk so i can use my digital music system without need for my Oppo SACD player.
Thus am looking for a system to use with SACD Ripper.
Requirements are as follows:
* A PlayStation 3 model CECHAxx, CECHBxx, CECHCxx or CECHExx, released in 2006 or 2007.
* PlayStation must be running firmware version 3.55 or 3.41
System must be in good working order.
Thank you.

Hello.
Can you email me a bplexico AT comcast DOT net so we can discuss further. I am not clear what spoofed to 4.21 means.
Thanks

No offense taken. I have a specific purpose for it - which is to move my SACD collection to hard disk so I can integrate them into my digital music collection without need for SACD/CD player. So I don't have in depth knowledge of the Playstation 3 and all its nuances. I do know the model Playstation that is required and the firmware version that is required, as well as the software I will need to install once received.
So yes, perhaps a little crazy after all. My understanding now is that spoofed means it will preclude the system from automatically upgrading the firmware to a later version if I connect to the network, or rather it helps preserve it at version 3.55.

Good luck finding one! Im sure someone will have one for you, I will leave you a message when I get some in stock. I usually get a couple to fix and resell every couple weeks.
