This NTSC-U PS2 is in good condition cosmetically. Functionally it works with all PS1-2 discs including the hard to read blue bottom PS2 CDs, and ESR backups. It has the KHS 400c laser in it which is one of only two lasers in the FAT PS2s that has new lasers (third party) still available for it. This version is also one of only two FAT PS2 models to have the built in IR receiver making it easy to reset your PS2 to play a different game in HDL without having to get up from your chair. It has also never had a chip installed.
Special Bonus!! I'm throwing in an official Sony DVD remote so you can reset your PS2 without getting up! NO extra charge.
NO cables, controllers or net adapter included.
The whole inside has been blown out with air, laser and gears cleaned, gears and rails regreased.
MC is 8 MB unofficial, (Not a Chinese clone).
I can install the latest FMCB, ESR, ULE on it if you want. Please don't PM me asking what they are, READ their threads located on this very forum.

I thought you were in a position of either a new CPU or this PS2. So when you said you were gonna get the CPU, I figured you no longer had the funds for the PS2.

I apologize and will hunt for another good v9.

I have another v9, but it has a near dead laser and I don't want to sell PS2 that aren't 100% working.

I come across good used Fat PS2s frequently, so the chances I have a v9 in the next week are very good.
