Just got mine today, so thought I'd leave a little feedback.
The device looks nice, neat and tidy, so if you don't want a circit board hanging out the front of your PS3, then I highly recommend it. The end of the device has partially see-through plastic. The LED's inside can be seen through this sticking out the front of your PS3, rapidly blinking orange-red light while the JB process is executing, solid green once it's working and the PS3 has booted up.
You need the official software to flash the dongle, which can be found at http://www.ps3usbjailbreak.com/down_sort.php. Each software revision has pre-programmed JB payloads, so you can just pick which one you want and it'll work (I picked the Hermes 4b with 3.5 spoof). You also have the option to supply your own HEX, click on Customer Firmware for this option.
With the price systemshock2 is selling these at, I highly recommend grabbing one if you're looking for a n00b-friendly way to JB your PS3.
Now I can set aside my AT90USB162 dev board for the PSGrade payload!
