Great news. I'm very new at this, but if this cobra ode works for all models will it replace all the other soldered modchips?
If so, I'm going to wait until they release before modding.

I am new, and I can't pm.

I have a CECHA01 console with 4.25 OFW, 55gb HDD, NAND chip.
After I get it downgraded, can I install custom CFW's by USB or will I need to have the progskeet?
What is the difference between leaving the progskeet in, and taking it out after the downgrade.

You will have to have a progskeet for the downgrade. Also the difference is that when you leave it in it will draw some power from the usb ports. To where if you take it out it will not. Once you get it downgraded and you Q&A the ps3 you can install what ever cfw or ofw you want. thanks
