Going the CFW route isn't all that hard.
Lethal should be able to help you out pretty good.
If you are REALLY uncomfortable with doing it yourself, you should be able to find someone local that can do it for you.
I don't know if you are in a location that has Craigslist available, but that is what I would do if I was uncomfortable with doing it myself.
When I search CL for used PS3's, I often see the service offered by people in my area.

I read about rooting a new tablet that I bought for almost 3 weeks before attempting the task (and I'm not really a noob to this type of thing :) ).
Took me less than an hour to do it once I understood what needed to happen.
The PS3 is quite a bit easier to do. :)

I live within 100 miles of Atlanta and no one has listings to jailbreak PS3. I seen plenty of ads to jailbreak iphones and ipads. Atlanta didn't even have a ad. Either no one around here knows how to do it or jailbreaking a PS3 is myth lol. Just kidding. I definitely appreciate any help that is given. Thanks for the Craigslist suggestions. I am still waiting to hear back about buying PS3 already jailbreak for $170. If anyone else has any offers, let me know. Thanks everyone!:)

Don't jump on it so soon bubba. My transaction is held up in Paypal dispute against the seller and it will probably take 7-10 to get my money back. The deal offered seemed to good to be true.
