North London is a ball-ache to drive to from Liverpool though. >_< And it'd cost more than the console in diesel to get there and back.

Just thought I'd leave some feedback for Zeromx.

Got the PS3 from him today and it's exactly as he described. Powers up fine and boots into the XMB, analogue clock spinning so I'm guessing dead laser.

Should be a fun little project to mess about with!
