I got this 3.55 40GB PS3 off ebay around January, it was missing BD drive. I used the downgrade method to marry a drive and it plays games and Bluray movies while in OtherOS 3.55 firmware. After a couple months the the graphics were messing up. I found out someone had previously reflowed it and neglected to tell me. Both heat spreaders are lifted. I reflowed it again and it seems to work but I can't guarantee anything. I was going to build custom cooling for it but I need the money. I've spent $150 total with the BD drive and everything. I'm just looking to recoup what I invested. thanks.
