could someone remarry my dvd drive for me

hi,i have a 60gig ps3 and the dvd drive died. it was the logic board. i tried to solder the old chip to the new board but the drive was dead. so having read up it looks like i need an e3 reader and the knowledge to remarry the drive but i don't have an e3 reader or the knowhow. according to the menu the console is on firmware 4.11. would some kind soul who has the hardware and knowledge to do it for me have a go for me if i post it to them and pay the postage back too??? i would get the e3 reader and try myself as i like that sort of thing but i'm off work sick at the mo and not getting paid and the bills come first. or if someone lives close to me, i'm in swanley in kent cheers

You need progsket hardware flasher to downgrade and then remarry dvd drive.

yes it seems so but i'm not confident in doing it and i don't have any spare cash at the mo to buy whats needed. thats why i was asking if someone would'nt mind doing it for me

thanks for your replies so far. can i use an e3 reader to do it? if so what files do i need to put on it and don't forget i'm on 4.11
