You can not just put any blu-ray ribbon on your drive. Some PS3's use a thin cable and other use a larger cable. I doubt anyone has one laying around but you have to be much more specific.

I don't know where you live.

If you have craigslist, look up ps3 repair.
I would be willing to bet you could find one fairly easy that way.
