Backwards compatible 3.15 ps3 phat, original box and materials

Just checking if anyone wants this before I update it and put it up on craigslist. It's a backwards compatible ps3 with all the original materials and box, and it's still on 3.15 firmware (I bought another rather than updating and never got around to using it for anything, so now I just want to keep the other one and sell this one).

I'm asking $300 plus shipping. If you're interested, we can set something up with an escrow, or if you're in Portland Oregon, I can just come meet you.

believe me if you update it before you put it up there youre not gonna get as many hits as you would as if it was on 3.55

Well, left it on craigslist for 2 weeks. Asked $300 for all the original equipment, and an upgraged 320gb hdd. Nobody cared about the 3.15 (or the BC for that matter). All the responses I got were to that new ones cost less. I upgraded it, transferred all my files from the new one, and now I'm going to put the new one on craigslist.

I think this just proved to me that nobody cares about linux on the PS3. There's a few dudes in Europe who think it's cool, and that's about it. The rest of us just never used it (I installed it once, but it was so slow and useless that I deleted it after a few months). I think it's time to give it up, guys. this thing doesn't have the hardware to be a computer.
