I bought my ceche01 80gb backwards compatible for $200 and it was a great deal because it had just been refurbed from Sony. You should be able to at least get that out of these, and maybe as high as $250. They're worth about $300 because they're backwards compatible and have the 256mb NAND, so if a dual boot option comes out these have enough space left in the NAND to handle it.
all sold, thx to all
Well this kinda sucks!!!!
I wish you would have put that you were in Texas in your original post.
What part of Tx. are you in?
I live in the D/FW area and would have been willing to drive from Weatherford to Longview and Denton to Waco to pick one up at the right price (a little less than your original $300 asking price (but not by much, according to Craigslist prices in this area)).
I would've been more than willing to give a fair price for a backwards compatible unit that I could keep on OFW and (at the same time) hack the Chit out of the current unit I have.
Just curious.
I will assume you aren't down in Brownsville or out in in El Paso. We really are in a big state, so it may not have been that big of a loss on the timing for me.![]()
If you happen to come across something like that again, please let me know by pm.
The company I work for during the summer is based in Fort Worth, but I get sent up to the area around Texas Motor Speedway (and a little further North) quite frequently.
