Here is the first pic of what is currently under development by Team Xtender. This is a full fledged IDE interface kit for the slim PStwo console. This kit seems to be based around automan's work and willl allow users to use an IDE hard drive on their slim console. No word yet on its release date.

The only question i have is wasnt there a problem with hdloader on slim ps2 models where it wanted to format the drive every time? Or maybe im behind.

well, the installation will be very close to the xbox scene's LPC rebuild Kits. place down the flex pcb (in this case) and solder the points. best to use a low watts iron.

Ya, we will be carrying this product 100% for sure when its available, it will be in demand.

with the flex pcb, you might not need to cut the case, there is places on the slim you can run cables thru (eg: black of the laser, thru the back of the top case..

I would not buy anything from team xtender, did you read up on the crap about the xtender for the xbox, it does not work for crap, they sent out ide cables that only worked once, once you tried to remove it from either the drive or the board the connector ripped off, and the fact that they sent it with 40 pin when most drives need 80 wire ribbons.
U need your PS2 or xbox modded, check me out @ http://nosnam.home.comcast.net
