Noone gives a **** about you or any of the other million whiners. X3 doesn't force you to do anything, they don't force you to buy anything, they have absolutely no obligation to provide you anything. Stop whining.

If people are stupid enough to buy X3 dongle because someone said something on the Internet - they can only blame themselves.

If they do, then they can sign a package so it could be run without a Jailbreak.

Why not just ask them to sign something that's already out there, like an Open Manager, and post it up?

They don't want to or they just plain and simple can't do it..... They could have proven their findings and could have confirmed them REAL in about 50 different ways but they choose to do none. They are blowing smoke once again. This X3max team needs to be banished from the scene before making another announcement Next announcement is gonna be JB a 3.55 with PSN support.

What is the generic software you loaded on your E3?
Doesn't it just work that way with their "Dual Load" Firmware and you drop a k.hex or h.hex file in the "E3_4M_STICK" side?

the generic firmware along with v2 of the x3 programming tool allows the use of pretty much any hex from hermes (h.hex) or karakatos (k.hex).

X3Max guys are simply trying to protect their work. They are a company, and business comes first, they have no interests in releasing code for free esp.. before they release their devices and in full circulation, this is exactly what they said. Now signing something will shoot them in the foot as it can be reversed engineered and will allow also Sony to STOP it.

Basically people just need to be patient and understand this is a company we are dealing with and they will release the goods when ready, not because people are whinning or out of need for proof, because proof = exposing their code which = critical loss of sales due to reverse engineering.

There are guys on these forums whom could rip x3max code to bits in no time and publicly release their tricks before x3max make money out of this. The world runs on $$$, people need to accept that and just stfu and wait.

That why the world is going to wiped on Dec. 23th, 2012 -- Their it just too many kindergarten kids on the planet, no one is sitting down and working on improving themselves or the world around them, most are just flaming, fighting, and screaming at each other.

One of the reasons almost every single original PSJailbreak, then later their PSDowngrade, and now the x3max threads end up getting closed down after a day, or worse delete because it becomes worse then flames, and out right shitstorm!

The funny thing is x3jailbreak and later called x3max appeared 48 hours after the original PSJailbreak, not like all the other cloners that only appeared after PSGroove was released a few weeks later, so my point is maybe they do have a so-called "Team of Developers" unlike the others that are truely just cloners of open-source free-flowing information.

But time will tell if they can release something more then right now "100% hot air". -- As we old-school'ers call it VapourWare!

no matter what site, thread or forum, this type of situation always turns out. too many people have too many opinions and too many people feel that they have more knowledge than that of the previous poster.

in the early days of the internet, it wasn't so bad, it's only after a few years afterwards things got really bad and only will get much worse. the anonymity of the internet allows this problem to exacerbate then things really go down quick.

this is why i really miss the early days of the bbs, back in the early '80s. alot of, or most bbs's didn't allow much anonymity since most of them (bbs) required new users to have a 'call back' from the boards sysop to verify the user account. sure they could give false info, but the sysop had the phone number and could find out their real identity if the user caused much trouble. i don't miss the days of 110 or 300 baud connections though...
