It's pathetic that some people want the exploit so bad, that they'll trash X3 hoping X3 will given in to the pressure and let them have it immediately.

lol, i haven't posted a lot as well, but as others have said here, i'm gonna wait to see actual results before i go out and buy any dongle. Right now i'm using my nano 1g to jailbreak my 3.41 system and i'm happy with what i have.

That's a dumb, and rather self-absorbed, way to look at things... you can only have an issue with a company if they personally forced you buy something or stole from you? As long as a company's actions does not affect you, you shouldn't care or comment?

Do you really want me to list examples of why such a belief is silly?

And also, if you're hoping that X3 claims are true just to "put all those criers to bed", then you have very 'interesting' priorities. (i.e. One would think that the hope of X3 claims being true are primarily driven from the desire for the scene to move forward. )

Noone gives a **** about you or any of the other million whiners. X3 doesn't force you to do anything, they don't force you to buy anything, they have absolutely no obligation to provide you anything. Stop whining.

If people are stupid enough to buy X3 dongle because someone said something on the Internet - they can only blame themselves.

the infamous "modified 3.41.pup", which in itself is huge and seems to be overlooked by many. But not sure what was changed in that .pup, as I could not find more detailed info bout it. Can anybody point me to more on that? Was it decrypted with grafs' tools? whats the difference to retail? But most important, why is a modified update accepted by service mode?

For the non-techies: If you could replace the USB-module in 3.50 with the one from 3.41, and flash that .pup, you'd have a jailbreakable 3.50'.

(This is not to say it's doable, but it's the reason why the accepted modified .pup is so interesting)
