In the PC, no. I assume its suppose to? I've tried it with the switch in JB mode and in programming mode and it my laptop doesnt see any storage device.

Fat32 is ok?

That's fine so it's not just mine it doesn't work. I couldn't get it to read either in the PC or ps3

I still am unable to use the genric bin and flash with hex compiled for other boards....

The feature sounds awesome.....but I cant confirm it working. The system will jailbreak...but it will not enable backup support using hermes 4b of several difffrent boards and the same everytime...

The only way I could get backups working was to use the hermes 4 bin they have in the zip file at beggening of post...

yeah i'm disappointed in the product too. in fairness the hermes 4 bin also supports hex files with PL3 payload. It doesnt support the new hex files compiled with psn support though.

Thanks to som,e people here for helping me I was able to get backups working, but not using there advertised feature of using any hex file with there new bin...

I looked at the website and it says to contact seller for further support , my seller ius cool but doesnt know whats wrong with mine as his is working fine using there genric bin and any hex feature....mine is just not working like that for backups..jailbreaks but nothing for backup support..

The hermes 4 bin they have listed at the beggening of this post in the zip file...is it based on hermes 4b?

I would like support for the new payloads as well

I just stuck a 4gb microsd card in mine and nothing happened. It doesnt appear in windows.. and it doesnt appear in PS3. Has anyone got it to work? or is this how its supposed to be?

I got this message back from Gaming Mart regarding the microsd card:

This is not just the usual USB ps3 dongle -- x3max team is supposed to be releasing its purpose for the microsd shortly so keep checking back!

It has future capabilities so when future software releases are made it will be worthwhile

Whats the best hex to use? I can't get any of the newest ones to work. I can get on psn but i dont have the mike fix and I dont have hermes.

This version not only allows you to flash pre-compiled X3 Max firmwares as before, but now for the first time anywhere, our V2 update allows flashing of *any* hex file regardless of chipset. No longer will you need to wait around wondering when a payload for your chipset will be available.

It's all lies !!! I try to use 2 hex files from orginal hermes v4b package and non of my backup work (( ://// I am very disappointed after purchasing this product (( Now i must looking for a working hex to this dongle :/
