I have USB UNKNOW DEVICE HAS CONNECTED MESSAGE showing sometime too.. But only with PL3 payloads. Now i testet Hermes_4b_Payload_with_PSN_and_350_Spoof and no message show up. Finally hermes hex works But whe i go back to XMB from Manager or Game i see FLASH and some scratch on screen for a little moment. I don`t know what is it On PL3 i don`t have this. And one more. Stil with All_boards_PL3_PSN_ECO_NOUNAUTH_315_341_Hexs half of my games (most latest i download) are showing in Open Manager like BLESxxxx and won`t run. Other old runs ok. And with other hexs like All_boards_PL3_PSN_ECO_DEF_315_341_Hex AND Hermes_4b_Payload_with_PSN_and_350_Spoof backups works great !
Thats it for now. I`m stay with All_boards_PL3_PSN_ECO_DEF_315_341_Hex for now.

...it's no surprise that I've been a fanboy of the X3MAX. It's an awesome dongle & the specs speak for itself! I'm happy about the update and wondered why it was a little buggy as of late?

BTW: is it really nessary to unscrew the USB - I never did - I just hold it securely with my figernails/figertip and change the switch?

There is no need to remove the screws and aluminum case. If all you want to do is move the switch, just pop off the back clear cap.

The only time you would need to remove the case is when you need to access the microSD slot.

i was very disappointed with this product initially. i'm glad the issue is now fixed and I can use hermes payloads with a generic bin.

Have fun. Welcome to AceKard.ca / My Gaming Mart sent me mine via Priority so that I can get it quicker and be the first to review the X3Max. Unfortunately, stupid Canada Post f'd up and didnt ship my package until almost a week later (not Acekard/MyGamingMart's fault). So they had it in their possession for almost a week. Going through customs was pretty quick. Once it passed customs, it got here within 2 days or so.

Generic 1.1, tons of .hex, formatted drive...
Jesus, nothing works, black screen, random crashes...

Attach files that worked for you, which permissions are set on ftp? Execute, write, read?

I too am getting an unknown usb device is connected when using this payload. Also not sure if this was the root of my issues but I had not sound coming from backed up games. I switched back to Generic 1 and haven't had any issues.
