The original DRL's are padded with 00's at the end, so yes i would.

Yes, you do.

It is best just to take your broken DRL1 and DRL2 files from your PS3, and just overwrite the bytes that you need to at the front making sure any leftover non-zero HEX is written with zero's.

Make sure your HEX editor is in "overwrite" not "insert" mode so that file stays the same size.

Maybe in the near future the PHP script can be improved to produce a zipped up package of DRL1/DRL2 files with the padding so no HEX editor is needed.

Also note both files DRL1/DRL2 are the same, just edit one, and then copy it over the second file.

It's working and outputs the same results that I got on Arodd's site using US Toy Story 3 BRD. Thanks for hosting it.

I have a backup of my original drl files but bluray still doesn't work for me. Any idea what to check? What should the file permissions be set to for these drl files?

gary can u recommend a good hex editor.i am using hex editor neo and can see nothing about overwrite mode in the options.or can anyone recommend a good and easy one to use.

Just an idea here but couldnt it possibly work with a other OS PS3? If you install linux and then get the file that way?
