Word from the DMS3 Team

If case you guys didn't notice on the DMS3 News Section it stated the following.

19.03.2003 <---- Date is wrong supposed to say 19.03.2004

The DMS Team are now working on a Flash update V1.9 to fix a few bugs in the V1.8 release. Details will follow shortly.

At least this is hope for the DMS3 users who thought the team dissapeared in thin air.

I hope V1.9 is compatible with the new Sony HDD.

yeah! maybe I won't have to boot from the browser anymore, hopefully HDD support too.

Yes, is about time since v1.8 is from 11/16/2003 !!

Over 4 (four) months ago, going to 5 (five) months soon.

Undoubtedly they are working on better HDD compatibility although fastboot already gets you past the booting problem... maybe also some new tweaks which help with the new DNAS breakthroughs... that would be nice too.

News again from DMS!

We have decided to release a 2.0 flash instead of 1.9, which has added features as well as the DVD-r boot fix. We are in the initial stages of testing at the moment. The following features have been added:

*Configuration menu (acess by pushing L1+L2+R1+R2) during boot sequence.
You can turn on and off different boot functions and view version data here.

*USA HDD support
We're adding support for the newly released USA HDD

As promised we've also resolved the boot bug from Standby for DVD-r. <b>We'll release the flash just as soon as we've tested it thoroughly</b>.
