Ha, what a shame! I feel for you, looks like very delicate work.. I hate to say it, but would you not "look before you leap" and check the firmware before heating up your iron?

But as Jon Salat said, maybe it'll be put to use eventually!

Is that the PS3 that was in pieces? Or another that you had..? Just wondering if you still have a definite 3.15 machine to do it on, because I think it'd be great to have a glitchable machine to test some theories of the scene on.

I run a small repair shop in my free time and had a few extra that people never came back to pickup. I had one on 3.15 set aside for a rainy day. Trouble is I am moving into a new house in 2 weeks and have already started packing a lot of things. With the way my luck usually works, i probably packed the wrong one
