WinHIIP updated to 1.7.1

GadgetFreak has released WinHIIP version 1.7.1.

"Corrected a mistake that meant any drives formatted with Quick Erase Mode might not be formatted correctly.
Basically if you formatted this way and your drive is accepted by the PS2 as formatted then you don't have a problem.

Added two functions to Program Options to be used for problem solving of peoples hard drives."

Improvements in V1.7.0

Full Toxic OS standard & extended (V0.3) operation modes.

Support for installing DVD-9 (Dual Layer) image files supported by Toxic OS V0.3. These can be produced by DVD Decrypter.

Selective copying of images between hard drives.

Prompted regeneration of PS2 Master Boot Record if your PC blanks it when starting up windows.

Image file extraction will now limit / split files to 3.999Gb for FAT file systems.

Improved Partition code for images over 4Gb if using Toxic OS.

The Select Drive list now indicates drives with PC Master Boot Records to stop confusion.

Support for CrazyC's experimental DVD-9 (Dual Layer) HDLoader patch.

This new release is awesome. I didn't have the HD bug, but thanks for the fix.

PLEASE add network support. You could use hdld_svr or just make ur own but that'd be awsome.

Network Support at a max of 800kb/s? It's quicker to just attach the HD to your PC, or use an USB2 Adaptor, much much faster than 800k.

Not if your PC's tucked away in a cabinet behind a sofa etc... like mine.

As we don't need to transfert games every day, I prefer waiting 30 minutes for the transfert to complete than put my hard drive each time in a USB 2 adaptor or into my PC.

But this time, I couldn't put my GT4 DVD I bought into the hard drive using network but it worked with this release of WINHIIP. Good work. Now I can play without reseting my PS2 4 or 5 times before the game launches.
