No. That 'Handiness' program is an installer for HDLoader, and no installer for HDLoader is compatible with USBextreme. Only the stuff made specifically for USBextreme will work with it.

I'm experiencing good game recording times and decent load speeds. Heck, it's the portability of this thing that I love. I just pack up my little 2.5 and my usb extreme and game all over the place. Also a cool feature if your swapping any of the many available free ware stuff for ps2

Thank you! I just started using USB-X, loading up ExtHD for daughter's bday, and I was wondering why the transfer started at good speed and then throttled back to a snail's pace. My ExtHD was set to optimize for quick removal instead of performance, what a boost in speed that change made!

Loaded Finding Nemo, Shark Tale, SpongeBob Squarepants the Movie and Flying Dutchman, Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 4, and Robots. Only first two of those six listed worked. Not good compatability rate so far, and I've read similar posts. I have many more backups ready to load and try, hopefully most work.

I wonder if there will be a patch / software fix to make the games that are currently incompatible work eventually?

I have formatted my external USB HDD...
I have installed and run USBeXtreme Client...
I have installed games with the Client...
The games shows on the list, but when I'm about to start a game, nothing happens...

My HDD is a LaCie 160Gb USB HDD...I use USB 2.0 cable but it should work anyway!

So what could be the problem?
