UPDATE: The Theft Of PS2World!

To update yesterday's news story on the theft of our friends at ConsoleWorld's database, both parties have now come to an agreement. The ps2world.it site will continue under it's new management (CipCipStore), but will be starting from scratch with a fresh database.

Well, this is some what good news. But, how did they manage to steal their domain name? Obtain their username and password, and then log in and change the password and the name servers? Anyhow at least they have what belongs to them back.

its a case of the guys that paid the bills took over from the guys that were doing all the work, so they both had access in the first place. As it is, people will realize soon that the new site is just selling stuff and will look elsewhere if that is not what they are after. The new management has shot itself in the foot, as the user base will drop significantly now.

first of all, cipcipstore, dont try and act innocent, you stole the ****ing db in the first place..

secondly - as long as everyone knows that ps2world.it has nothing to do with the old ps2world.it (the present consoleworld.org), then we are all happy.

exactly my point. people not only need to be aware of his own actions but also the fact that ps2world has nothing to do with the real site, consoleworld.

If c0d3x requests me to remove the thread then i will. I will only move this thread here to the soapbox forum. I WILL NOT delete it. There is also no war cipcipstore, I could care less about you and your webshop at all. If i wanted a war with you then rest assured, you wouldnt stand a chance against us.

@hipersonic: that's your opinion, the facts are others and if I talk is because I have the right to use the DB, but with c0d3x we have find the agrre to remove and reset it.

Cipcipstore, this is not your site so do not demand that any threads be edited or removed. The original "offensive thread" was moved to the Recycle Bin. If you aren't satisfied with that, tough shit. One more post from you like this and you will be banned.
