Kewl.
i still like 0.3, it gets my hdloader elf down to 264k w/ patches & custom xp skin
hmm, gonna have to try it i guess...

Well, this bug was introduced into version 0.4
BTW, plugins and stubs were not updated. Only the packer, which was badly setting up the BSS section, causing every packer and unpacker stubs to behave the same wrong way.
What does that mean? --"Nasty bug"--? Was it compressing the files badly? I burned a CD with a few HDLs packed with 0.4 and my PS2 continually locked-up just reading the directories? The ELFs seemed to run ok, though...
Some code I wrote when beeing really tired just was completely misaligning data... So, up to 15 bytes could be muched out at the end of the binaries. This can cause random problem, since this is mostly hitting built-in data, like graphics, or some texts, or whatever.
ah ok
however msot of my compressed elf files seem to work ok with 0.4
will be updating anyways ^^
That is indeed a good idea
I've deleted the old 0.4 version anyway. Nobody shouldn't use it anymore, since it may introduce small, quite unnoticable, but still annoying glitches, like raizor's AHX musicdisc which was not playing some track right or something.
Ok, so Im real lost.. this is my first time checking out this app..
So, if you could give me a stub command that will always work with the ps2, because I heard some have issues with some programs..
Like for instance.. Say I wanted to pack up a file located at C:\ps2-packer\BOOT.ELF
What command would I want to use to compress it.. that way I can just reuse it over and over for every file I want to pack..
